FUNdamental Soccers’ Friend/Contributor, Roby Stahl, is hired to be the Head Coach of the Cincinnati Kings…
 

 “The Cincinnati Kings are proud to announce the hiring of new head coach Roby Stahl. 

Stahl is a seasoned soccer veteran with extensive coach and playing experience. After four years of varsity soccer at the University of Akron, he played for the Cork Celtic Professional Soccer Club in Ireland, trained with the England Professional First Division in London, and played for the Cleveland Cobras as well as the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.

Stahl’s coaching resume includes head coach for Tyreso FF in Sweden, the College of Charleston, head goalkeeper coach for Old Dominion University, as well as numerous boys and girls youth and high school soccer teams. His levels of sophistication and professionalism as a coach have been noted worldwide and he is respected as one of the most outstanding coaches for individuals and teams in soccer today. Stahl will be replacing former coach Jon Pickup.

This year, the Kings will be competing in the United Soccer Leagues (USL) Premier Development League (PDL). The PDL is the top Under-23 amateur league in North America. Kings’ players have the opportunity to professionally compete during the summer months while keeping their colligate eligibility.   The Kings play all their home games at the Town and Country Sports Complex in Wilder, Ky.”
